Sound of Soul is one of the South’s leading choirs performing at events and occasions around Dorset and Hampshire.
We specialise in upbeat soul, motown and pop classics. We love putting a smile on the faces of our audiences and hearing them sing along. Our friendly, new and unique approach to singing and entertainment is a little different to the more traditional classical or community choirs. Why not check us out at our next gig!
Are you an event organiser? Established in 2012, we’ve performed at many weddings, festivals, private and charity events around the Dorset area and beyond. It’s our favourite thing to do! Please message us if you’d like us to sing at your event.
Are you a singer? Musical directors Jo Wilkinson-Sharpe and Karen Boyle run fun weekly rehearsals using well-known songs with original vocal arrangements and performance elements. We meet every Tuesday evening from 7pm – 9pm at Christchurch Junior School, Clarendon Road, Christchurch BH23 2AA. Places are limited (we like to keep our group small and friendly) but we do run a waiting list so we can let you know when a place becomes free.
