Sound of Soul’s Christmas Concert Season for 2014 finished up with a very successful set at the Bournemouth Christmas Market in the Square on Saturday afternoon and an hour singing under a snow machine at Parley Manor on Sunday.  Sound of Soul are now enjoying a well-earned rest following a very busy year of concerts and weddings and will be back practicing for a whole new set list on January 6th.

What an amazing start to our Xmas Concert Series!
Concert #1 at the Sovereign Center, Boscombe yesterday afternoon – lots of audience appreciation and we saw some singing along too – big shout out to the little girl in the push-chair who really got involved 🙂 Did you miss us? Want to hear us again? Next concert is at Beales in Bournemouth on Sunday 14th.

Well time really flew by in our rehearsal last night – getting ready for not one, not two – but three Xmas concerts is certainly keeping us busy!

Looking forward to practicing our set for the Lewis-Manning Hospice ‘Light Up A Life’ concert and also a few more songs for our Xmas Concert Series that starts in Boscombe on the 6th December 🙂

Wow! What an incredible concert last night!
The choir sang really well and we heard some fantastic solo and small group performances too!

Thanks to everyone that helped make it happen: Matt and Dan – after all the worries about the church acoustics the sound was amazing! Pete and helpers all did a great job with organizing everything.

And …for everyone that came to support – it was a joy to sing for you (and with you).

Our final rehearsal before Saturday’s concert really flew by – also got to hear some of the solos and everyone is sounding great – certainly going to be something for everyone!  Don’t have your ticket yet?  Don’t worry tickets can be reserved for pick-up on the door – just ring the number on the poster.

After a really successful charity concert on Monday; Tuesday’s rehearsal for our Sacred Heart concert was amazing!

Everyone seemed to have a nice time – lots of clapping and singing along – and not just from the choir!  Great turn-out considering it was a week night so a big thanks to all who made it – thanks to Ola for organizing and for Franz for leading us and reminding us to smile 🙂 See you all tomorrow!
